| Martha back for the end of ATWT; What are your thoughts? | |

Martha is the Lily I grew up with. and I love her. But in all honesty, I'm not sure how I feel about her going back. It would mean firing Beck and I'm not sure that would be fair. She's done a good job. I've even tried to think of a way her to come back as Rose, but there is too much that would have to be over come. First there is the whole back from the dead thing. Then explaining why there are no longer identical. Rise would have to have plastic surgery to look different (which is actually what she looked like all along??) The only answer I can come up with is we all get in a time machine and smack the powers that be and make them keep Martha no matter what!! |

I'd love to have Martha back for the end of the show, although my first hope is it finds a new home. I think the easiest way to accomplish that would be as Rose. I have no problem with them no longer being identical. There is a precedent for that on soap including ATWT. Once identical Frannie and Sabrina later were no longer identical. Same with Vicki and Marley on AW and I know there are others. I'm not big on back from the dead stories but I'd deal to have Martha back. Or perhaps it could just be a ghostly visit. Heaven knows Lily could stand to have Rose back to knock some sense into her lol! Rose could visit other people she's been close to. I'd deal with a ghost story to have Martha back on ATWT for a visit. |
